Terms of Service
These terms govern use of the Memory Lane mobile apps, website, community features, and business tools.
Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate information, protect your account, and be legally able to agree to these terms. Business tools are only for legitimate organizations authorized to use the submitted business identity and address. Verification does not guarantee or endorse a business.
Your content and audiences
You retain ownership of content you create. You give Memory Lane a limited license to host, process, scan, resize, transmit, and display that content only as needed to operate the service and honor your selected audience, location radius, and unlock date. Do not upload content you lack permission to use. Public content can be seen by any eligible nearby member; Friends content is limited to eligible connections; Private content is limited to you.
Acceptable use
Do not harass, threaten, impersonate, exploit minors, invade privacy, promote illegal or dangerous conduct, upload malware, manipulate location or ratings, evade blocks, scrape members, or use the service for misleading advertising. Reported content can be reviewed and removed. Serious or repeated violations can lead to suspension or termination.
Location and safety
Location results are approximate and can be delayed or inaccurate. Do not use Memory Lane while driving or enter unsafe, restricted, or private property to reach content. Nearby discovery is not a safety, emergency, or identity-verification service.
Business subscriptions
The free Local plan currently supports a 14-meter business radius. Paid plan prices, billing interval, included post limit, renewal terms, and taxes are shown before confirmation in Stripe-hosted checkout. Paid access is granted only after a verified payment event. Plan reach and limits can change prospectively with notice; changes do not rewrite an already confirmed billing period except where you agree or law requires.
Availability and liability
The service is provided on an “as available” basis. We may change, pause, or discontinue features and may need staged rollouts for safety or compatibility. To the extent allowed by law, Memory Lane is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
Changes and termination
You may stop using the service and request account deletion. We may restrict access to protect members, comply with law, or enforce these terms. Material updates will be posted with a new effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms where permitted by law.
Questions or requests can be sent through the Memory Lane contact form.
